Our Origin Story: Why NRBVN.ng Was Created

The Bank Verification Number (BVN) was introduced by the Central Bank of Nigeria to reduce enhance financial security, and link all of a customer's banking information under a single, verifiable ID. But for millions of Nigerians abroad, enrolling in the BVN system has not been easy. Long flights, embassy bottlenecks, biometric delays, and inconsistent communication have made it a challenge.
